The University of Michigan Glee Club is hosted for this Washington Cathedral concert by the singers of the Cathedral Schools: St. Albans School for Boys and National Cathedral School for Girls. The large, combined Upper School choir of the Cathedral Schools, the Chorale, is 168 voices strong, and from that ensemble are chosen the Madrigal Singers and the girls' and boys' a cappella groups. The tenors and basses of St. Albans will join the Glee Club in song at this concert, welcoming back the Glee Club President, Michael Cromwell, St. Albans '04, who was bass section leader of the Chorale and head of the boys' a cappella group. Ninety singers from the Chorale will spend two weeks this June touring in South Africa, with performances in a variety of settings, including school, cathedral, city hall, and township. Your admission fee to this concert will support fund raising efforts for the South Africa tour, and the Chorale is grateful for your support.
