Meaningful Objects: Museums in the Academy

The Museum Studies Program is pleased to announce its participation in the 2009/10 LS&A Theme Year, “Meaningful Objects: Museums in the Academy.” The program committee has assembled an exceptional array of courses and events dedicated to its theme—the launch of the MSP’s own new undergraduate minor in museum studies, symposia and lecture series, such as, Translating Knowledge: Global Perspectives on Museum and Community, theme semester related courses, behind the scenes museum tours, theatrical performances, student poster shows, art competitions, faculty workshops, and special exhibitions.
