Pre-Cruise Instructions (click to show/hide)

Ensure you pick up the following documents from the HRA prior to leaving the University:

  • Medical Record
  • Dental Record
  • Immunization Record
  • Orders (Only IF your cruise has been assigned)
  • Return Envelope to NROTC University of Michigan
  • Return Envelope to DFAS
  • Blank Travel Claim

Read and Understand the Following Documents [You are required to print out and hand-carry any portions of these documents that may be useful while you are on cruise]:

If you were not assigned a cruise prior to departure, your orders and travel information will be mailed to you.

Upon receipt of orders, ensure you understand everything they say.

Review and Understand Reporting Instructions for your cruise.

Once you have complied with these instructions, send an email to cruise@umich.edu to state you have complied with and understand these instructions. If you have not sent this email 1 week prior to your departure, you will be notified and required to complete these instructions and provide an explanation as to why you have not complied.
