**UM ID cards, Semester Passes, Limited User Passes, and Drop-In passes cannot be purchased online**

**Any registrations involving discounts and/or promotional codes must be done in person at the U-Move Fitness office (1256 CCRB). Please note that discounts and promotions cannot be applied after registration is completed**

 

TRY A U-MOVE CLASS FOR FREE!

From May 5-11, select* U-Move Fitness classes will be available on a free drop-in basis at the CCRB and NCRB. Not sure if you want to Zumba? Always wanted to try yoga? These are just two of the classes that are available. Please be aware that space is limited in many classes, and spots are available on a first-come basis. Classes at the IMSB are not included in the free week promotion. Contact the U-Move Fitness office for more details.

*Beginning Swim 1 & 2, Intermediate Swim, WSI, Golf and Tennis are not available for free week participation.

 

U-MOVE FITNESS CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR ACADEMIC CREDIT

The following classes are available for academic credit through U-Move Fitness and the Division of Kinesiology in Spring 2008:

  • Beginning Swim I - 1 credit
  • Beginning Swim II - 1 credit
  • Intermediate Swim - 1 credit
  • WSI - 2 credits

The following classes are available for academic credit through U-Move Fitness and the Division of Kinesiology in Summer 2008:

  • Beginning Swim I - 1 credit
  • Beginning Swim II - 1 credit
  • Intermediate Swim - 1 credit

Some divisions will not accept these classes for credit. Students are strongly advised to discuss scheduling these classes with their academic advisor prior to registration. Please be aware that in addition to U-Move Fitness registration fee, students must also register on Wolverine Access. Therefore, the class will also be included on the tuition statement. Registration must be completed at the U-Move Fitness office (1256 CCRB) in order for students to receive an override form and access registration on Wolverine Access. Contact the U-Move Fitness office for additional information.

 


KIDSPORT 2008 IS HERE!

The KidSport 2008 brochure is available and registration is now open! Join us for another fun and exciting summer of KidSport Morning, KidSport Afternoon, Camp Explorations (am & pm) and Outdoor Adventures!

SEMESTER PASSES

Passes are available for individuals that already have access to the Rec Sports facilities. Enjoy all the classes you want for $125 each semester during the Fall & Winter semesters.

Semester passes cannot be purchased online - stop by the U-Move office and get yours today!

**Beginning Swim I and II, Intermediate Swim, WSI, Introduction to Movement on Rock, Golf and Tennis are not covered by the semester pass**

**Currently enrolled full-time students have access to Rec Sports facilities. Faculty, staff, and community members must purchase a membership through Rec Sports in order to have unlimited access to facilities**

LIFETIME FITNESS

Join us on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-10 am in the Von Maur court at Briarwood Mall for the Lifetime Fitness program. The class is designed for senior adults, but is open to everyone. Classes are carefully structured and include a warm-up, pre-aerobic stretch, sitting and standing aerobics, strength exercises, a cool down and a final stretch. The class is FREE (donations are welcome), and no registration is required. See you there!

You can purchase yoga mats through U-Move Fitness.
