Michigan Opens Fall in Strong Fashion
ROCKFORD IL.-- The University of Michigan men's
rowing team kicked off their fall racing season with
three first place finishes. The
Wolverines' 1V8 boat grabbed gold with a time of
14:41.19 with Purdue coming in second at
15.26.32. U-M also earned first (17.34.02) and
fourth place in the open pair and first (16.14.69) and
second in the 4+.
Michigan will take to the water again in two
weeks as they make their way to Boston, MA. to
take part in the annual Head of the Charles from
Oct. 21-22. Another group of Wolverines
will head to Lansing to battle local powers in
the Head of the Grand the same weekend. |
