No. 20 Michigan Races Well on Friday and Struggles on Saturday
Washington D.C.-- The No. 20 Varsity Eight raced well on Friday beating No. 18 Virginia and No. 19 George Washington in a tight race. The Second Varsity Eight and the Freshman Eight both fell to George Washington on Friday.
Saturday brought different results for the Wolverines. After falling in a close race in a rematch with No. 18 Virginian and Gonzaga, the V8 headed into the afternoon secession facing No. 11 Syracuse and No. 15 Georgetown. The Wolverines were no match for either the Hoyas or the Orangemen, falling way back in the first 500m of the race.
