V8, 2V8 and 3V8 All Earn Silver Medals at ECACs

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK-- The Freshman Eight's third place in Sunday's final of the American Collegiate Rowing Association National Championships was the first of three medal finishes for Michigan.

The 2V8 placed second after a very tight race with UC Davis. The V8 placed first by open water over the field.

The strong showing from all boats led to Michigan winning in the Men's Team Points Trophy and finishing second in the Combined Men's and Women's Points Trophy.

Dan Brock (Bloomfield Hills, Mich/Seaholm) and Mike Nappo (Otsego, Mich/Otsego) were named to the Great Lakes All-Region team.
