Junior (2007-2008)... Second Varsity Eight ... bow seat of the second place Open 8 at Head of the Rock (October 7).

Sophmore (2006-2007)... Bowed the 3V8 for the Spring season....finished one second behind Trinity at the Michigan vs. UVA vs. Trinity race in Ithaca, New York when the 3V8 event was cancelled at ECAC (May 13)...earned silver medal at the Indianapolis Invitational (April 29).

Freshman (2005-2006)... Raced in both the bow and 2 seat of the 2F8...placed 4th at ECAC (May 13)... earned gold at the Indianapolis Invitational (April 22).

Personal... Parents are Joe and Beth Kastl...full name is Alexander Joseph Kastl...enrolled in LS&A...majoring in Anthropology-Zoology and History.
