Parking

Parking Map of Central Campus
  • Parking for Michigan Union and Angell Hall
    Thompson Street Parking Structure provides covered parking and is free during the evening and on weekends. Thompson Street is parallel to and one block west of State Street.

  • Parking for Michigan League and MLB
    Thayer Street Parking Structure and Fletcher Street Parking Structure provide covered parking. These two are usually free in the evenings and on weekends.

    Thayer Street parking structure is at the intersection of Thayer and Washington. Fletcher Street Parking Structure is at the intersection of Fletcher and Washington.

Flying to Ann Arbor

The closest major airport to Ann Arbor is Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).

The airport is about 35 miles east of Ann Arbor. From the airport, take I-94 West and follow it all the way to the State Street Exit in Ann Arbor. Take a right on State St. and continue for about 3 miles until you reach the University of Michigan campus.
