Pierpont Commons Wall Gallery
Arts and Programs is now receiving entries for the 2009-10 Juried Competition that takes place at the Wall Gallery at Pierpont Commons. Eight winners will receive a $200 stipend for displaying their work. The competition provides a unique opportunity for students, faculty, staff and area artists to mount a month-long solo exhibit. Individual 2D, 3D artists, fine craftspeople working in ceramics, metal, glass, paper, fiber and others are encouraged to apply. Artists must be living or studying within the state of Michigan.
To submit your entry, you can send along the attached entry form along with your statement and images of your artwork (in TIFF format) to Nicole Piorkowski at npiorkow@umich.edu. If you would prefer to send a CD, please mail it along with completed form and statement to 4303 Michigan Union, 530 S. State St. Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Thank you and good luck!
