2007-2008 Recap

The 2007-2008 Women's Basketball season came to an end in the quarterfinals of the Postseason `WNIT. This marks the first time in six years that Michigan Women's Basketball has reached the postseason. This year set many records, including:

- First time past the 2nd Round in any national tournament

- 19 Wins for the first time since the 2000-2001 season

- Highest Big Ten finish (7th) since the 2000-2001 season

- First Big Ten Tournament game win in four years

Overall, this was great season for Michigan Women's Basketball. While the results were good, we hope this is just a preview of what is to come for the program.We would like to thank all the alumni who have supported us this season and look forward to seeing you during the 2008-2009 season.
