Site Description

This site has been developed to help you design accessible websites and web-based software. There is a self-paced tutorial, information about how to make common formats accessible, accessibility tags and attributes, links to tools for evaluating and validating websites, lists of accessibility resources, and answers to common accessibility questions. A site map and search is provided to help locate specific pages and topics.

You can even check a site with Cynthia Says!

Site Content and Design

The site illustrates accessible design and satisfies both Section 508 regulations and Priority One and Two requirements for the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 1.0. To help provide context, most coding examples are taken from this site. For more information about the design of this site and accessibility, visit the About Site section.
