	Web Services Private WebSpace Approved Browsers Several standard browsers work with Web Services Private WebSpace, which was one of the design requirements, due to the widely diverse audience that the University of Michigan has for its web content. The browsers that we KNOW work with it are: Netscape Navigator: versions 1.1N, 1.12, 1.2, 2.x, 3.0x, 4.0x Internet Explorer: versions 3.x, 4.x lynx: version 2.7.1 (when compiled with cookie and SSL support) Note that Internet Explorer does not support SSL, and Opera 1.0 does not expire or manage cookies properly. Also note that Netscape Navigator 1.x and 2.x will only work with Verisign server certificates until December, 1999. After that, users will be required to upgrade to a new version.
