Wesley Fellowship: for undergraduates
Regular Wednesday weekly meetings at 7:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge. With components of sharing, prayer, and speakers & topics for discussion. Fall topics to include Islam, Christianity & Judaism; Careers; Poverty; Art & Spirituality; War & Peace; Africa; Living Creatively; and Interfaith Dialogue. Fun activities tba.
Grads at Wesley: for graduate & professional students, recent graduates and their spouses
2nd & 4th Sundays: 8:30 - 9:30pm Bible Study. Alternate weeks: fun / social activities.
First Friday Films: Open to all college students and their friends.
Dec 4th - Do the Right Thing: Come watch Spike Lee's exciting film on race in New York City. 8o'clock at Wesley.
Movies the first Friday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge. Each film to be followed by a respondent and open discussion; mostly thought-provoking, occasional comedy. Bring Friends.
Service Project Saturdays: open to all students and the campus community
Service opportunities on four non-home football game Saturdays (October 3, 10, 31, November 14 and December 3) including Habitat for Humanity involvement and food bank/hunger/poverty focus.
Sunday Lunch at Wesley:
Students gather in Wesley Lounge around 12:15 p.m. for a free lunch.
Sunday Holy Communion: open to everyone
Sundays at 7:30 p.m. in the Wesley Lounge - Regular, informal, 40 minute Sunday sacrament involving U.M. clergy; sometimes ecumenical.
Quiet Study at Wesley: open to all students and campus community
Wesley Lounge is open from 9:00-11:45 p.m. on Wednesdays following Wesley Fellowship, and 8:30-11:45 p.m. following Sunday Communion. There will be additional times & extended hours during midterms and finals. Free wireless internet.
