Bentley Historical Library

Many of the images used in this project are in the Bentley Image Bank, which anyone can search or browse for historical photographs. You can even make your own account with a public or private portfolio to store your favorites.

You can either start by searching the Bentley Image Bank or by browsing portfolios by clicking on the brown button in the upper right hand corner of the main search page.

The portfolio containing all the images for this project is named “WISE Oral History”

If you are interested in researching the Center for the Education of Women or the Women in Science and Engineering Program, the Bentley has records from both organizations. To make your research more efficient, you can search the Bentley Finding Aids to narrow down which series and boxes you would like to examine before you arrive.

Full transcripts of these interviews are also available at the Bentley Historical Library in the Women In Science and Engineering Program records.
