Robbin Mitchell
Polo Ralph Lauren
Senior Vice President, Business Process Integration

Robbin Mitchell is currently employed at Polo Ralph Lauren (PRL) where she joined the company in March 2001. Presently, she is Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Business Process Integration with responsibility for implementing global supply chain initiatives across both wholesale and retail divisions.

Robbin currently manages Polo’s largest global business initiative, which involves implementing a new Global Enterprise ERP System across all global wholesale brands, including Lauren, Footwear, Polo Brands, Childrenswear, Womenswear, and all brands in Europe. The scope of this project encompasses key operational areas including planning, merchandising, global sourcing, sales, order fulfillment, allocation, shipping and invoicing. This initiative includes re-engineering current business process and implementing a common business and operational infrastructure across all divisions.

In addition to these responsibilities, Ms. Mitchell continues to oversee and manage global Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for all Polo brands and select Childrenswear, Lauren and Europe programs. This initiative involves managing sourcing, inventory management, and supply chain activities for PRL’s replenishment businesses.

From 2001-2004, Ms. Mitchell held the position of Vice President, Wholesale Replenishmentfor the PoloBrands Wholesale Division where her primary responsibilities included managing all aspects of the men’s wholesale replenishment business with full P&L accountability. She was named one of the top 25 Visionaries by “Consumer Goods Technology” magazine in 2006.

Ms. Mitchell’s career in the apparel industry spans over 15 years. She has held the positions of Senior Vice President, Strategic Brand Developmentat Tommy Hilfiger Corporation; Senior Vice President, Global Logistics and ProductionPlanning forGFT USA, which brands include Giorgio Armani Le Collezioni Men’s and Women’s, Joseph Abboud, Calvin Klein Men’s Apparel and Valentino Men’s and Women’s.

Ms. Mitchell spent five years practicing consulting with McKinsey & Company, Inc where she was a SeniorEngagement Manager in the Retail Practiceand published several articles and co-authored numerous white papers. Ms. Mitchell’s areas of operational expertise included product development reengineering, global supply chain management, and global sourcing and production management.

Prior to business school, Ms. Mitchell spent two years at The Boston Consulting Group as a member of the Retail Practice, as well as two years in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Lehman Brothers focusing primarily on the retail industry.

Ms. Mitchell received her BA from Stanford University and was awarded an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
 
 
 
Anindita (Ann) Mukherjee
Frito-Lay
Group Vice President, Marketing

Anindita (Ann) Mukherjee is currently Group Vice-President of Marketing at Frito-Lay.  Otherwise known as the “itos girl”, Ann is responsible for Doritos, Tostitos, Cheetos and just recently has acquired the Lay’s Brand.  Prior to joining the Frito-Lay marketing department, Ann started her career with PepsiCo in Frito-Lay’s Convenience Foods Division.  She was responsible for leading marketing, new product innovation, consumer insights, and strategy and for all Quaker branded snacking.

Ann has over 15 years of Brand Management and Marketing experience working with Kraft and Citibank prior to joining PepsiCo in 2005.  She started her marketing career working on new product development for Citibank Diners Club.  She then moved to Kraft to gain a classical consumer packaged goods marketing experience.  She worked on a multitude of brands for almost eleven years including Kraft Mac ‘N Cheese, Kraft Singles, Taco Bell, Minute Rice, Stove Top Stuffing, Velveeta and DiGiorno.  She has also worked on developing global new products for Kraft.

Ann received her BA degree and her MBA from the University of Chicago in 1987 and 1994.  She was born in Kolkata, India and is very active with the Indian community and its causes. She, her husband Dipu and their 5 year old twins are proud to call Dallas their home.  In her spare time, she loves to travel, cook and entertain friends.

Elizabeth A. Lowery
General Motors Corporation
Vice President, Environment, Energy, and Safety Policy

Beth Lowery is vice president, Environment, Energy, and Safety Policy. She was appointed vice president, Environment and Energy, in October 2001. In April 2007, she assumed additional responsibility for GM safety policy.

As GM's chief environmental officer, Lowery is responsible for GM's environmental, energy, and safety policies worldwide. She is also secretary to the Public Policy Committee of the GM Board of Directors and a member of the Public Policy Center global coordination team. She is a member of the North America Strategy Board (NASB).

Prior to her current assignment, Lowery was GM North America vice president - general counsel. From 1994 to 1997, she was the practice area manager for the Environmental and Energy practice area of the GM Legal Staff, where she had responsibility for facility environmental matters, mobile emissions, and energy initiatives on a global basis.

Lowery joined GM in 1989 as an attorney and was involved in the development and adoption of the GM Environmental Principles and the mutual endorsement of the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES) Principles. She has been instrumental in shaping GM's environmental direction since she joined the company.

Lowery was born on October 24, 1955, in New Britain, Connecticut. She earned a bachelor of business administration, cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University in 1978. She earned a juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University in 1981, where she was an editor of The Wayne Law Review. She was a law clerk for Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice G. Mennen Williams from 1981 to 1983. Before joining GM, Lowery was a partner in the Detroit law firm of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, specializing in environmental law. In 2002, she completed GM's Senior Executive Program (in partnership with Harvard Business School) and was chosen one of the 100 Most Influential Women by Crain's Detroit Business.

Lowery is chair of the board of directors for the World Environment Center, an independent, not-for-profit, non-advocacy organization. She also is a member of the board of directors for The Keystone Center, a public mediation and educational organization, and Haven, a nonprofit organization that works to create violence-free homes and communities. In addition, she is on the board and former chair of Inforum Center for Leadership, which focuses on areas critical to leadership effectiveness, personal growth, and advancement of women in the workplace.

In 2004, Lowery was elected one of Detroit's most enterprising women by the Detroit Historical Society and received the same distinction from Corp! magazine. In September 2005, she was named one of the 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry by Automotive News. She also received the Automotive Hall of Fame's 2007 Distinguished Service Citation, which recognizes individuals who have succeeded in making significant contributions to the automotive industry.
