ANN ARBOR—Coming off a tough loss, the Michigan women's club lacrosse team came back and recorded a strong win against Western Michigan. The Wolverines took action on every scoring opportunity and tallied 19 goals for the day.

Though the Broncos attempted to make a comeback early in the first half, the Wolverines never lost their lead. It was constant scoring on Michigan's part, with senior captain Ani Shekerjian leading the way with three goals and one assist.

Every Wolverine saw a good amount of playing time and contributed to the big win of the weekend. Michigan used the momentum in the first half with 11 goals to carry them through the second half.

Senior goalie Emmy Scheidt posted a solid save percentage against Western's shots. Sophomore Carly King had four assists, including two to freshmen Britt McCormack and Emma McGregor in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Michigan dominated over the Broncos in all aspects of play. Defensively, the Wolverines did a good job of re-defending in the midfield, forcing turnovers and recovering ground balls.
