britt mccormack

Freshman midfield/attack

rye, ny

rye High School

Personal Profile:

Britt has played 10 years of lacrosse prior to joining the Wolverines this year. She was a team captain at Rye and was also awarded the 2011 Del Laye Award for dedication, enthusiasm, leadership, loyalty, altruism, years of commitment and energy. She looks to bring those same qualities to her game at Michigan. McCormack also ran track and played Field Hockey at Rye. Britt was also elected class Vice President all 4 years of high school and the Wolverines are excited to have her leadership qualities on the team this year.

College Career:

Britt is an explosive midfielder with great vision and stick skills. The Wolverines will look for big things from her this year as they look to fill the loss of 2 midfield captains from last year's team. Britt is excited to work on her shot placement and her defensive footwork this year. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and also is planning to be involved in the Ronald McDonald House, Dance Marathon, Relay for Life, and Hillel. McCormack is interested in pursuing a career as a nutrionist and/or advertising/marketing P.R. and is undecided on her major, but is applying to the Ross School of Business.
