Ame's three sisters, Claire (McGill), Erin (Kenyon), and Gianina (Amherst) all played collegiate lacrosse.  Ame received the "Thank God She's on Our Team and is Only a Junior" for Greenhill's Soccer Team in 2004 Ame's aunt is Jennifer Granholm, who is Michigan's governor.
