Michigan Lacrosse releases 2010 schedule

Michigan Lacrosse has announced its schedule for the 2010 season. Highlights include weekend trips to two tournaments where the Wolverines will be tested against some of the strongest competition in the country. February 12-14 will see the Wolverines participate in the Santa Barbara Shootout for the second consecutive year. While the schedule for that tournament has not yet been released it is sure to draw several of the top teams in the nation as it has in past years.

For their second regular season tournament, Michigan will venture to Lindenwood University in St. Louis where they will take on the host and defending WCLL Lindenwood Lions in the first of four games, all against teams that qualified for last season's WDIA National Championship. The Wolverines will then take on UC Santa Clara, Minnesota before finishing off the weekend against the defending WDIA National Champion Virginia Tech Hokies.

Outside of the weekend tournaments, Michigan doesn't leave the friendly confines of Oosterbaan Fieldhouse other than a March 19 trip to East Lansing against Michigan  State. The Wolverines will host nine home games this season including a mini-tournament with MSU, BC, Miami, and Pittsburgh March 20 and 21. The Wolverines will open their season at home against Toledo on February 5th at 7:30 PM.
