AMIP_CAM6_LW.tar.gz contains the monthly longwave (LW) cloud radiative kernels (CRKs) derived from 3-hourly CESM AMIP runs (forced with observed SST; year 2003 to year 2013); AMIP_CAM6_SW.tar.gz contains the monthly shortwave (SW) CRKs, same CESM simulations. Simulations are run using CESM version 2.1.1 and CAM6; The CRKs has a dimension of (y,x,i,j,vn). The unit is Wm-2/%. In these dataset,y=192, x=288, i=7, j=7, vn =16 for LW and 14 for SW; 192 latitudes: -90:0.9424:90 288 longitudes: 0:1.25:358.75 7 CTP bins: 1100-800, 800-680, 680-560, 560-440, 440-310, 310-180, 180-50 hPa 7 tau bins: 0-0.3, 0.3-1.3, 1.3-3.6, 3.6-9.4, 9.4-23, 23-60, 60-380 16 RRTMG-LW bands: 10-350, 350-500, 500-630, 630-700, 700-820, 820-980, 980-1080,1080-1180, 1180-1390, 1390-1480, 1480-1800, 1800-2080, 2080-2250,2250-2380, 2380-2600, 2600-3000 cm^-^1 14 RRTMG-SW bands:2600-3250, 3250-4000, 4000-4650, 4650-5150, 5150-6150, 6150-7700, 7700-8050,8050-12850, 12850-16000, 16000-22650, 22650-29000, 29000-38000, 38000-50000,820-2600 cm^-1 Reference: Huang, X.L., X.
