Jupiter

Sketch by Mark Deprest at Sugarbush Park in Ann Arbor. Drawn September 11, 1998. The drawing was done
at the telescope (an 8” f/10 Meade LX10 SCT) and cleaned up at home. Mark used Guide 6.0 to make the
template and chart, but the drawing is his. Europa (one of Jupiter’s moons) and its shadow were both visible.
Europa, two other Jovian moons (Io and Ganymede) and the Great Red Spot are shown on this sketch.
