On Solaris 2.6, I've got some users using a directory without .AppleDouble
directories for the first time, and when afpd creates the .AppleDouble
directory, it doesn't seem to get the group from the parent's g+s setting.

e.g.:

>ls -ld ais/
drwxrwsr-x 8 dhmcweb regional 512 Mar 17 00:25 ais/

>ls -ld ais/.AppleDouble/
drwxrwsr-x 2 dhmcweb dhmcweb 512 Sep 6 20:08 ais/.AppleDouble//

Either I misunderstand g+s or this behavior isn't correct. Can someone
enlighten me?
