During the 1940s, boundaries were set for blacks as to where they could live; this technique was termed redlining. Real estate agents and mortgage brokers drew red lines on maps to indicate where black residents could live. Often times loans and mortgages were not given to the blacks living inside the red lines. The residences inside the red lines were of lower quality and higher price. Maybe you should take a visit to the black neighborhood...
