students have posting word-generated web pages (resumes) with graphics. Here
are key points to remember:
- Locate
and create the Word doc (lets call it word.resume.doc), along with
the graphics on the same level (of the hard drive.) For example if
you create word.resume.doc on the desktop you must locate any graphics
(that you plan to insert) also on the desktop prior to inserting it
in the word.resume document (inserted or cutting and pasting a graphic
from another location it will not work.)
Using saveas.web page, word will create a folder with support files (on the
same level where you created your .doc and graphics elements.) FTP this folder
to your AFS home space, along with your saved resume.htm file. There should
be no spaces in any file name you ftp to your AFS space.
