Course Goals

Introduce the computing environment and resources of the University of Michigan.
Insure a basic portfolio of computing skills to facilitate work in other courses in the Division of Kinesiology and at the University of Michigan.
Develop an appreciation and understanding for how information becomes available and can be processed through modern hardware and software procedures.
