To complete
this assignment send an email to your MVS110 lecture instructor
(the subject title of your email should read “MVS110L.Assig#3”).
Your e-mail should contain two attachments (#1 should contain a
listing of MOVSCI faculty members and their most recent research
article (title of attachment: MVS.fac.research.doc); #2 should contain
a listing of research articles, a 50 word abstract and 5 URLs with
a brief summary of their content (title of attachment: Res.topic.rev.doc).
Be sure to explain to your instructor what the assignment is about.

Part 1

List each
full-time, tenure track faculty member in the Movement Science
Department of the Division of Kinesiology and list their most
recent research article (use proper notation for each reference:
author name(s), year published, article title, name of journal,
journal volume number.) [Note: do not take this information from
the Kinesiology web page as this is not updated regularly; use
Web of Science or another search engine.] |

one of the research topics listed below based on the first letter
of your unique name (topic #1 unique name begins with A, B,
C; topic #2 unique name begins with D, E, F; topic #3 unique
name begins with G, H, I; topic #4 unique name begins with J,
K, L; topic #5 unique name begins with M, N, O; topic #6 unique
name begins with P, Q, R; topic #7 unique name begins with S,
T, U; topic #8 unique name begins with V, W, X; topic #9 unique
name begins with Y, Z.)

Do a search
from as far back as you can and list the total number of peer
reviewed references on the topic.

Read at
least one of these articles (or an abstract) and tell what the
article was about in 50 words or less.
- Search the
WWW for information about your topic. List 5 URLs that have information
about different aspects of your topic. Briefly summarize (1 to
5 sentences) information about each site.
