On the back wall of Los Galanes restaurant is this enormous
mural of
"Diversity is our Strength". As you can see, it takes up the
entire wall of the building. The Los
Galanes mural celebrates diversity by depicting people of all walks of
life, all races and ethnicities
holding hands and smiling. It
serves as a reminder to the broader community that not everyone is the
same and that diversity is
something that should be important to
everybody.
The mural was painted for the community by members
of the community. The picture below is part of the same
"Diversity is our Strength" mural. It can be
found at the bottom of the mural just a little left of center.
This mural was sponsored by Ronald McDonald
Children's Charities, Global Ministries
United Methodist Church and Cranbrook Peace Foundation. It was a
