Fall term 1995 marked another momentous change for this young troupe. We have changed our name from POV to DMG, and we have also refocued our goals and our direction, expanding the themes of our performances. Instead of focusing on critical APA issues, we have broaden our horizons to any sort of comedy and drama. By doing so, we want to break the stereotypic barrier that label APA model minorities as doctors and engineers. We want to show communities across the nation that a person of Asian descent CAN ACHIEVE the unachievable just as well as a person of another descent. As before, most of our performances are based upon written material drafted by our own members. We have included music to

our performances. For the first time ever, our troupe introduced the band Euthanasia, a multi-ethnic multi-gender group performing songs dealing with all issues, from racism to love. DMG is oriented around the work of its members and it is in this approach that we embrace the diversity of the APA community. Whether it be political issues or dream tattered delusions, DMG strives to reflect the diversity of its members.

We are looking for writers and performers who have a desire to constantly challenge themselves and their audience. Ours is not a classical theater set-up with all its accompanying restrictions. We want individuals who love to express themselves, who have a burning ambition to get their ideas and vision onto a stage. We will go places no one else would go; ask questions no one else would ask. To achieve this end we will not be afraid to confuse and offend people!
