Q: Is it alright to consult a book, the internet, family members, friends, or a health care practitioner about the acupressure points I am performing?
A:
No, please don’t consult any other source while you are in the study. One of the things we are testing is if we can teach the acupressure treatment using the webpage and DVD link by itself. If you get information about how to stimulate or locate the points from another source we will not be able to tell if the website and DVD can train people to perform their acupressure correctly. However, after the study is done feel free to consult other sources about acupressure.
