Started in the late 80's as BPMA, BPHA serves to cultivate future health professionals, diversify potential researchers and edify the works of minorities within the health science fields. We welcome you to learn more about our rich history and our progression to an even greater future.
The Black Pre Health Association was formed to meet the needs specifically of African American undergraduates at the University of Michigan. Whether it is with help choosing a class or a career, BPHA provides the sources and resources needed to excite, excel, and engage students in pursuing their respective health related interests.
The Black Pre Health Association is composed of members who are all interested in pursuing a career in health. Whether you are in Nursing, pre-Veterinary, pre-Pharmacy, pre-Public Health or even Psychology, there are people associated with this organization that can provide you with advice and resources geared to your matriculation through the University of Michigan.
