Dr. Zhou has been the president of Jilin University since July 2004. In addition to serving as Chair of the University Council at Tsinghua University, Dr. Wang is also the Provost, the Vice President for Education, and the Dean of the Graduate School. Xu Wu is Professor and Vice President of University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Zhu is Professor of Genetics and Statistics at Zhejiang University.  His research develops genetic models and new analytical methods, along with the mapping of genes for complex traits, and the breeding of improved crops.  Dr. Zhu also directs the Institute of Bioinformatics at Zhejiang University.

The National Academy of Education Administration (NAEA) administers the training of education officials throughout China.

Mr. Wei’s research focuses on sociology and administrative management.  In his current role as Division Chief, Mr. Wei is engaged in faculty recruitment and development, and research on human resources development and relevant administrative management.

China Training Centre for Senior Personnel Management Officials is one of the top national training institutions in China.

The State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) is responsible for the administration of experts from abroad, and from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Most of these experts work in academic settings, though some are employed by foreign invested ventures, under import contracts or by key construction projects. SAFEA also places Chinese technical and managerial professionals from government departments and enterprises in overseas training programs.

The Office for Universities is directly involved in all aspects of higher education administration.

Ms. Zhang has worked at the National Academy of Education Administration since 1987. Currently, Associate Professor Zhang Jie serves as the Deputy Director for Department of Research. Ms. Zhang’s responsibility involves both teaching and research with a focus on higher education.
