About the Europa Forum
The Europa Forum series' prime objective is to raise awareness of Europe at the University of Michigan by continuing a conference series where prestigious political and business leaders as well as members of academia may discuss key topics regarding the effects of the European Union integration on the United States
The Europa Forum series replaces the prestigious European Business Conference
series. Drawing on the past experiences of experienced team members, this conference will eclipse the overwhelming success of the First Europa Forum.
The Forum will benefit students by raising awareness of the global nature of their studies and will inspire them to become the leaders of tomorrow by allowing them to meet the leaders of today.
The Third Europa Forum is a collaboration between the European Student Association, European Business Club, and the Business Organization of Strategic Skills. We have institutional partnerships at University of Michigan with academic units such as the Dept. of Economics, School of Law, and the Ross School of Business. In addition, we are looking to establish partnerships with other Departments at University of Michigan. Current institutional partnerships are with the Center for European Studies, International Institute, Center for Russian and Eastern European Studies, and others.
We are also looking to establish a long-term relationship with a company interested in
targeting undergraduate and graduate students of diverse backgrounds for recruitment and promotional purposes.
What We Do
* Examine Current Issues
We strive in examining the current issues that affect Europe .
* Incorporate a multidisciplinary approach
Explore the business, political, economic, and legal viewpoints of these issues
* Generate Interest In International Business
We help to spread the word about International Business to the current UM
Graduate and Undergraduate studentry.
* Collaboration between Academic Departments at UM
We focus on involving as many Departments as possible to expand the target list of students and Faculty in our efforts to raise interest.
