Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My major has nothing to do with business or economics. Can I still join?

A: YES! In fact, we encourage students from ALL majors to join FBLA. We have members with majors ranging from Mechanical Engineering to Biology to Political Science. It is important to develop qualities necessary in becoming a leader, no matter what your career goals are. In today's world, taking the extra step to build upon your academic abilities by developing these skills is important for success in your field.

Q: So is FBLA-PBL like a co-ed business fraternity?

A: Though both FBLA-PBL and business fraternities offer similar career building and leadership development programs in a professional setting, there is no need to rush for our organization. We have no pledges trying to fulfill requirements to join FBLA. All you need to do is to fill out a membership application, and you're in!
