The MBA Food fight is a national food drive competition sponsored by the University of
Michigan Business School Global Citizenship Club. Students at approximately 20 business schools accross
the country collect food and cash for local food banks. The school that collects the most food
(total or per student) wins money to donate to the charity of their choice and the coveted Funky
Pilgrim Trophy!
Donations are coordinated through the national non-profit sponsor Second Harvest, and remain in the communities in which they are collected. With a network of over 200 food banks around the country, Second Harvest is the largest domestic hunger-relief charity in the USA. Our corporate sponsors donate funds for food and prize money that will be distributed to the winning schools for disbursement to the charity of their choice.
