- Wallenberg / Bagramian Summer Travel Fellowship, Summer 2011
Balachandran G. Radhakrishnan has been awarded the Wallenberg/ Bagramian Summer Travel Fellowship to implement a critical metrics project at Pudiyador. Congratulations, Bala! He will be implementing metrics to measure the impact of Pudiyador activities on the community this summer. -
Book Collection Drive: March 2011
Books go to Washtenaw county libraries and Pudiaydor center libraries. Collaborating organizations are M-Heal, SWE and University Housing. Collection locations on Noth Campus (Lurie BME, Dudestadt Connector, Pierpont Commons, EECS atrium, CSC atrium), Central Campus (Michigan Union) and off-campus (Northwood community center and Wilowtree apartments). -

Career Guidance Program for High School Students
InnerPACE members are develop a career counseling database for Pudiyador's high schoolers. This will be used to identify the students' interests and to guide them in planning an appropriate career of their choice. We will provide them with the resources and the ‘know-how' on how they can pursue their interest as a profession. - Performance metrics
iP members are working on creating a set of metrics to measure the impact of Pudiyador activities on the community. - Ann Arbor Art Fair, July 21 -24 , 2010
2010 was our 3rd Art Fair appearance. iP volunteers raised over $2500 for Pudiyador. Thanks to all contributors for providing the kids with better opportuntiies. :) - Summer workshop curriculum for Pudiyador -
The Pudiyador team requested us to develop an activity plan spanning 140 kids, 4 weeks and a central theme - saving the planet. After several iPbrainstorming sessions, the initial concept blossomed - each week would deal with a different aspect of the overall theme filled with hands-on activities, field trips, role-play, arts, games, and education about the specific sub-themes. iP also planned the weekly schedules and coordinated with field staff to implement the concept.

Campus Awareness: SWE Mr. Engineer, December 2009
The Society of Women Engineers at the University of Michigan have organized the 2009

Ann Arbor Art Fair, July 15 -18 , 2009
2009 was our 2nd Art Fair appearance. We love the Art Fair because it brings hundreds of people to our PACE henna booth. We spent our summer weekends collecting gorgeous designs and honing our artistic skills. So, Art Fair was a great time to reach out to arty PACE enthusiasts. All the money that was paid for the henna tattoos has been allocated to art projects for the Pudiyador kids in India. - Photo exhibit at Sava's State Street Cafe, March 2009

Maize Mirchi, UM's premier South Asian A Cappella group, supported PACE in its debut concert. Inner PACE members set up an information booth and presented a video during the concert.

- Photo exhibit at the University of Michigan North Campus, March 2008
PACE members taught underprivileged children from PACE supported communities to photograph their world. These photographs were displayed in the Duderstadt Connector at the University of Michigan by Inner PACEto spread awareness among the university community. - Wallenberg Summer Fellowship, April 2008
Divya Srinivasan won the 2008 Wallenberg Summer Fellowship to work on an after-school program in a semi-rural slum in Urappakkam on the outskirts of Chennai, India. - Bollywood Dancing Workshop, October 2008
Inner PACE invited Divya Rolla, an accomplished contemporary dancer from India, to conduct a Bollywood dance workshop in Ann Arbor as a fund raiser for PACE. The workshop offered a sneak peek into the 'pop opera' of Indian cinema and was well-received. Funds totaling $150 were raised and donated to PACE. - India Reading Group, October 2008 - ongoing
We have started a reading group to bring together students interested in issues pertaining to India. This is an informal gathering where we discuss scholarly papers and reports to get a better grasp of the issues and the policies affecting them.

Inner PACE members invited professional Indian musicians to perform at the University of Michigan to help raise awareness about the state of the uneducated poor in India. This concert also helped raise funds for the operations of PACE. - Wallenberg Summer Fellowship, April 2007
Members of PACE and Inner PACE collaborated on a project that supports education of underprivileged children in an urban slum in Adyar, Chennai, India. One of the members, Swapnaa Jayaraman, won the 2007 Wallenberg Summer Fellowship which enabled PACE to carry out the project goals. - Fund-raiser: Indian classical music concert, Vatsa Vaani, November 2007
