Who we are

The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering student chapter at the University of Michigan is an academic organization connecting students with the professionals currently working in the pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 1980, ISPE is a not-for-profit, non-lobbying global professional society with more than 60 student chapters at colleges and universities worldwide. The chapters include schools such as:

• University of Massachusetts - Amherst
• University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
• Pennsylvania State University
• Purdue University
• University of Southern California
• University of California - Berkeley

Our student chapter is a part of the larger Great Lakes Chapter which means that members receive a very much local interaction in addition to being a part of the international community. The members of ISPE work in all areas of the pharmaceutical industry from manufacturing and operations, through suppliers and academia, to the governmental regulatory agencies.

If you think that your dream job is within the pharmaceutical industry, we are an organization for you. You do not have to be a "pharmaceutical engineering" major or even an engineer to be interested in our events. If you are any of the following majors, give us a call.
