MCTP Summer Lectures 2008

Extra dimensions and their phenomenology

(by Tom Flacke)

Starting on Friday July 11, 2008, 2:30 pm
335 West Hall, University of Michigan
1085 S.University Ave, Ann Arbor MI 48109
The Michigan Center for Theoretical Physics

The MCTP Summer Lectures have been initiated in order to give students and faculty the opportunity to learn about frontier topics in Theoretical Physics which are otherwise not easily accessible to people outside the field.

This year's lecture series is an overview on several classes extra dimensional models, their theoretical motivations (and shortcomings), and their experimental signatures in Astrophysics, Cosmology, and Particle Physics.

The course is meant to provide an introduction on extra dimensions, accessible for graduate students and everybody working in theoretical or experimental particle physics, cosmology, astrophysics, mathematical physics and everybody else interested.
