- United States Code (U.S.C.): The US Code, generated from the US House of Representatives. The USC is searchable by keyword and has a convenient Table of Popular Names of Acts that have been signed into law.
- Public Laws: Online access to the collection of laws enacted 1995 through the present. Includes catalogues of available Public Laws. Also searchable by terms.
- Library of Congress: Links to Members, Committees, and independent entities like the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and Office of Technology Assessment (OTA).
- GPO Access: Congressional Record, Congressional Bills, Committee Reports and Hearing Transcripts, and other Federal Government information.
- Congressional Research Service Reports: Nonpartisan reports related to the Environment, prepared by the Congressional Research Service in response to requests by Members of Congress. Online compiled by the National Library for the Environment.
- GAO Reports: Reports by the General Accounting Office, usually requested by Congress, evaluating the implementation of laws or regulations. Reports are searchable by subject, date, title.
- Lexis-Nexis Universe: (UMich only, requires library password) hearing transcripts, member information, bill texts, regulations, Congressional Record references, legislative histories, CIS references, and great links.
- Congressional Record Index: Keyword index to the Congressional Record since 1983, the official record of the proceedings and debates in the Congress.
