Louisa W Holaday I am planning on doing an individual concentration in urban studies with a focus on social justice issues. I am from New York City, and it has been a culture shock coming to the University of Michigan. I have learned a lot both in and out of class and would like to continue to do so.
My name is Robert Jackson, and I'm from Denton, TX. I graduated from Billy Ryan High School in the Krunkest Class of '01. I am a Second-year CAAS major student at the University of Michigan, and I have plans of becoming a very successful African-American lawyer of Civil Rights. My plans in life are to start an African-American law firm, specializing in Civil Rights. I feel Black lawyers should have a place to go without being "hated" upon, and I feel with the help of others, we can establish a very prestigious Black law firm. All I have to say to people is, "Tell me I can't do it, then watch the results." I love sports, mainly football. Football is my life, so I always play when I get a chance. I love Gospel, R&B, and Rap music, and I love to watch movies.

I am from Bay City, Michigan, birthplace of Madonna and the home of the Bay City Riverwalk and the famous Fireworks Festival, known throughout the Tri-City Area. The Bay City Rollers, however, are actually not from Bay City, sorry Jenny...
