Bucketing

Meet outside State Theater
Friday, March 6th & Saturday, March 7th
6-7pm

We will be bucketing this weekend, fri + sat, starting at 6 PM (contrary to what the sheet said, but we decided it'd be best to get a head-start and catch those "early to eat" dinner-goers). We will be meeting on State St., underneath the State Theater sign (or urban outfitters, for you hipsters out there). We should be providing a bucket, but if you have one to bring, by all means, bring it! The more, the merrier! Besides, that might mean we can split up and cover a bit more territory... which would be quite awesome.

If you wish to join us, the songs we'll be singing are:

  • "Brother" ala John Trotter warm-ups
  • "We Shall Fight" ala Eugene Roger Warm-ups
  • "I Need You to Survive" ala winter semester AC concert 2008 (easy to pick up + learn)

We may sing some stuff from this semester if people are up for it, or just other songs we want to sing. It'll be a fun time either way!

Diag Board Coloring

After Class in the MLB
Tuesday, March 10th
6pm

It's really important these look good, so make sure you come. There will be tasty sugar incentives if you do!

Bake Sales

Haven/Mason Hall
Tuesday, March 10th
10am-4pm

Chem Atrium
Wednesday, March 11th
10am-4pm

Speaking of sugary goodness, we will be having bake sales on 3/10 and 3/11. There will be sign-up sheets going around in class today for people to sign-up for shifts to come work (hourly), and also to bring baked goods / candy / Kroger / Meijer brand treats. It's fun, it's delicious, and it's a great way to hang out with your favorite AC people and get strangers to buy things from you. Even if you don't sign up, you should stop by and say hello, or maybe even buy something (*gasp!*). We need lots of treats! Please please please sign up!

Announcments

From the E-Board

We will be bucketing around downtown Ann Arbor on Friday and Saturday, starting at 6pm. We'll meet under the State Theater and then go from there. We'll be singing the songs we practiced after rehearsal the week before spring break. Even if you didn't attend the extra rehearsals, we would love for you to join us! We'll probably sing until around 7pm.

From the Secretary

  • T-shirt Orders are now being taken on the CTools wiki. We'll need at least 11 people to place orders to get a price around $11. To place your order, log onto CTools, click "Wiki" in the menu bar to the left, click "T-Shirt Orders" and then "Edit". Add your name to the list, your color of choice (light blue or light pink), and your size. Be sure to hit save when you're done!
  • A carpool signup will be sent out in class today for the pre-hill concert. If you leave before it gets to you (or you miss class today) PLEASE email Mo ASAP.

From the VP

We will be coloring Diag boards for our concert after rehearsal on Tuesday, March 10th. Please join us for however long you want! It's always lots of fun, and there's usually candy!

From the Webmaster

The latest AC attendence list has been posted to CTools. You can find it under Resources > Class Documents or on the home page of the Wiki. Please make sure your attendence record is correct!

Location is TBD - check out the Facebook Event page for more details.

Announcement

From the Secretary

Having attendence issues? Feeling sick the day of a rehearsal or have a pop exam on a Tuesday or Thursday (we know it couldn't be a planned exam, of course, because you would have told us about it at the beginning of the semester if it had been)? Now, it's easier than ever to let both Mo and John about your absences: simply send acattendance@umich.edu a quick email, and you'll be in the clear! Assuming, of course, you have a legitimate excuse...
