Grocery Shopping

The major grocery shops in Ann Arbor are Kroger, Meijer, Whole Foods, and Busch's. The major Asian grocery shops are Huaxing Asian Market, Tsai Grocery, and China Merchandise. All these grocery shops can be easily accessed by taking the AATA buses. You can find the schedules here: http://www.theride.org/.

Retail Shopping

Have the urge to go shopping? The only mall in Ann Arbor is called Briarwood Mall. Briarwood features 120 of the best names in retailing including Coach, Forever 21, Crew, Express, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Hollister. They also have Macy's, Sears, JCPenney, and Von Maur. The mall is easily accessible by taking AATA bus routes 6 or 36. They are open seven days a week! For more information, please check out http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=1231.

There are other stores in Ann Arbor that are not located in the mall. If you are looking for electronics, Best Buy and Circuit City are the two major electronic stores in the area. If you're looking for office supplies, Staples, Office Max, and Office Depot are the most common office supply stores. If you're looking for furniture, IKEA (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/), located in Canton, MI is about a twenty five minute drive from Ann Arbor. Although it's a little far, it's well worth the drive, as furniture there is significantly more inexpensive than the furniture you find in Ann Arbor.
