Membership

Join: Any student of the University of Michigan is eligible for membership by attending any UPSA event and signing up on the email list to receive UPSA emails. UPSA members must pay a $10 membership fee (or $5 with the purchase of a Poli-Sci T-shirt) each academic year and attend at least 25% of all UPSA events and meetings.

Withdraw: A member can withdraw from UPSA by informing the Executive Board of his/her wish to be removed from the UPSA email list. To do so, simply send an email to josephel@umich.edu.

Benefits: UPSA members will benefit from having interactions with guest speakers, professors, and fellow Political Science majors/minors. UPSA members also get a unique opportunity to become involved with the Political Science Department. Members are able to attend events designed to give Poli-Sci students an edge. Lastly, UPSA’s partnership with Kaplan gives all UPSA members a $200 discount for any Kaplan course they purchase.
