Security on the Web (and Kerberos)

KPlugin Present

The limitations on the Netscape Plugin model include problems when POSTing information to the web through a plugin because of buffer limitations, and problems with malicious web authors setting up web forms that post information to a secure space automatically.
KPlugin also relies heavily on forwarded Kerberos tickets for any service that the web server performs on an individual's behalf.
Overall, it didn't prove to be the security boon that it was intended to be, and because of various problems with it, work on the KPlugin (as originally envisioned) has been abandoned.

All is not (quite) lost, though!
