An organization providing girls ages 5 to 17 programming opportunities
geared toward developing strong and confident women

Some opportunities include: small local groups that meet regularly and
participate in a variety of activities; short term activities such as leadership
workshops; math and science workshops; “growing up female” workshops;
outdoor activities; and camp activities. Also, there are wider opportunities
geared toward older girls which are related to career exploration and travel.

There is a yearly membership fee of $7, and some varied fees, but there
is fundraising and scholarship/ financial assistance. No girl is left out.

A multi-service agency that addresses the mental, emotional, and physical
health of children, families, and adults

Some programs include: Soundings, Big Brothers Big Sisters, CLEAR House

nights, karaoke, video/film making, poetry, music, and more

Teens can drop in for free or become a member for $5. On weekends there
may be a small cost, depending on the event.

Provides: counseling (individual and family); 24-hour crisis intervention;
youth shelter; transitional living; lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender
