Grading |
Exams
- Two (2) exams at 75 points
each = 150 pts
- If you must reschedule an exam at a special time, please see me at least
5 school days in advance.
- If you miss an exam (for whatevery reason) without making arrangements in advance, there will be no make-up and you will receive a zero grade.

Workbook
- Complete all chapters (15 x 2 pts/ch ) = 30 pts
- If material is missing from chapters, points will be deducted appropriately. In general, grading adheres to the following scale: 2 points = complete chapter; 1 point = some missing material; .5 points = several complete pages with no entries; 0 pts = more than half of the chapter not completed. Turning in a previously completed workbook is grounds for an E grade in the course.

Assignments
- Four (4) assignments at
15 point each = 60 pts
Extra Credit
- Extra
credit points are added to your final grade. There is no penalty for
not doing an extra credit assignment.
- There are two extra credit options: (You can choose only one of the following)
(1) Total Body Make-over (up to 25 possible points)
(2) Biography (up to 15 possible points)

Letter grades
are assigned as follows:
- A+ = 97-100%
- A = 93-97%
- A- = 90-92%
|
- B+ = 87-89.9%
- B = 83-86.9%
- B- = 80-82.9%
|
- C+ = 77-79.9%
- C = 73-76.9%
- C- = 70-72.9%
|
- D+ = 67-69.9%
- D = 63-67.9%
- D- = 60-62.9%
|
|
There are no make-ups
except for compelling reasons. |
Late assignments
can earn no more than 7.5 points |
