PostDoc position for electronic structure based research of excited states and electron transport systems
The group of Prof. Dunietz in the University of Michigan is engaged in studying systems involving excited states of extended molecular systems. Focus is provided to the problem of electron transport through molecular scale devices, where both the development of methodology and study of related systems are being pursued. In addition, a variety of systems involving biological importance or material science relevance is considered. Applicants with appropriate training and experience are encouraged to apply for the position. Record in TDDFT methodology and/or Green-function based approaches is especially desired. Abstract of research results and reprint of up to two most important papers can be attached as well. The position is for one year with possible extension to two years.
