Mission Statement
Delta Theta Psi is a society of exceptional women who seek to encourage the strong bonds of sisterhood, philanthropy, preservation of South Asian culture, and promotion of professional development in women within the sorority and throughout the community.

Delta Theta Psi originated on January 7, 2002 and was founded on January 14, 2002 by seven exceptional young women with the vision to unite South Asian women amongst themselves as well as women of all other cultures. The founding mothers are the following: Aroti Achari, Preeti Arla, Shikha Mehta, Anuradha Mutyala, Nishita Patel, Amy Sanghvi and Nikita Shah.

Delta Theta Psi's Premier Event - Uncovered
Every year Delta Theta Psi hosts a charity dinner which strives to increase awareness about a current issue pertaining to South Asia. The purpose of the first dinner was to educate individuals about the prevalence of poverty throughout the world. Most of the participants left the dinner realizing the effects of hunger and experiencing what most South Asians live daily. Other issues have included: homosexuality, AIDS, and child labor in South Asia.

Other events/involvement in the community
Professional Development Seminars, such as resume workshops and stress management, and participation in a Multicultural Dinner with the ladies of Zeta Sigma Chi, Kids-Fair, volunteering at the Veteran's Hospital, and tutoring at local schools.
