(Ph.D. 1990 and M.A. 1987, Stanford University) is Wilbur K. Pierpont Collegiate Professor of Management at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. His research focuses on social networks; organization theory; corporate governance; and the social effects of financial market expansion.

Jason Owen-Smith

(Ph.D. 2000 and M.A. 1997, University of Arizona) is Assistant Professor of Sociology and Organizational Studies at the University of Michigan. His research examines innovation, networks, and institutions in high technology industries.

Jean D. Wineman

(D.Arch. 1977 and M.U.P. 1973, University of Michigan) is Professor of Architecture and Associate Dean for Research at the Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning (TCAUP), University of Michigan. Her research interests focus on the visual and spatial properties of buildings and urban spaces; social, cultural and behavioral studies; and environmental cognition.

Judith Olson

Her research focuses on the technology and social practices necessary for successful distance work, encompassing both laboratory and field study methods.
