Become an Honorary Gymnast for the Next Meet
At selected home meet one lucky kid between age 8 and
8th grade gets to be a part of the Michigan Gymnastics
team and cheer with them throughout the rotations.
The Honorary Gymnast is selected from among entries
placed in one of the special boxes around the meet.
Please plan on arriving a little earlier
in order to fill out the honorary gymnast form.
Here's what happens when you get there:
- Entries must be submitted at least 15 minutes before
the posted start time of the meet.
- Just before the meet starts, Michigan Coach Bev
Plocki draws the winning name.
- The Honorary Gymnast comes down to the floor and
is taken back to join the team.
- The Honorary Gymnast is announced as a team member
and marches out with the team for the opening introductions
and the national anthem.
- The Honorary Gymnast stays with the Michigan team
as it rotates from one event to the next!
